Testing of electrical machines

Adjustment, testing and final control of electrical machines are performed in specially equipped test stations

We have two test stations (main hall and workshop for pumps), which are designed as universal facilities for complete testing of electrical equipment up to a certain power and voltage.

Large ranges and a wealth of energy, voltage or current sources meet most of the needs for testing electrical equipment according to modern regulations.

Our test stations are equipped with a large number of electrical and mechanical measuring instruments that we use during the repair and maintenance of electrical machines.

Tests performed on electrical machines allow us to detect defects that affect the correctness at a given moment, ie to detect weak points in time, which in most cases can be repaired before the complete insulation breakdown has occurred. This directly extends the life of the electric machine and makes great maintenance savings.

Some of the tests we perform on our test stations:

Measurement of winding insulation resistance (R15, R60, R600, DAR and PL), polarization index, C and tgd winding insulation, transformer oil dielectric strength
High voltage tests (DC and AC)
Impulse test )
Conductivity test of rods by off-line method using excitation and measuring sensors (Baker)
Tests at idle speed and under load (electric machines AC / DC, power up to 50 kW)
Testing under load of traction motors type ISVK 644-8 (test power 850 kW)
The above diagnostic tests are applied to:

traction machines (traction motors, generators, electromotorized wheels…)
collector DC machines and asynchronous machines (electric motors and generators)
synchronous machines (electric motors and generators)
transformers (oil and dry)
pumps (depth, mulchers, centrifugal…)
Test stations located in the main hall consists of four basic parts, namely the control panel, three-phase control transformer, three-phase power transformer and electric traction transformer. What sets our test station apart from others is the ability to test traction engines type ISVK 644-8 under load.

The capabilities of this test station are:

Three-phase AC output 0-760 (V), 100 (A)
DC output 500 (V), 125 (A)
2.5-7.5-30 (kV) high voltage test
Frequency converter 0-800 (V), 200 (Hz)
Electric traction motor test
The pump test station is specific in that it has a test well with a volume of 300 m3, which allows checking the pumps in real operating conditions and recording QH- diagram.
